The Mid Hudson Lightning Girls Select Ice Hockey Team

The Mid Hudson Lightning Girls Select Ice Hockey Team will be holding tryouts for the 2008-2009 season Wednesday, April 9, and Saturday, April 12, at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie. 

The sessions are open to girls age 11-19.  

The session on Wednesday, April 9 will run from 7:00 pm to 8:15pm.

The session on Saturday, April 12 will run from 5:45 to 7:00 pm.

The tryout fee is $50, which covers both 75 minute tryout sessions and is payable at the first session (4/9) during registration.

Girls Spring Ice Hockey Team Forming

Girls Spring Ice Hockey team forming.  If you are interested in playing in The Rinks at Shelton Girls Spring Ice Hockey League, please contact Coach Rich Reid 845-855-5715 or e-mail puckwockamus@aol.com.  The team is open to players age 11 and up to and including Moms.  Yes that is correct, Moms.  There are already 2 teams comprised entirely of Moms in the league.  Don't just drive her there, suit up and play.  Must commit to play in position.  League runs April-June and is great fun.  Cost is 194.00 for 8 games, playoffs and jersey.
