Phyllis Forzani, 86, a resident of Pawling, NY, passed away Sat, June 23, 2007 in Charlotte, NC.

Born in Bronx, NY on Oct. 19, 1920, she was the daughter of Thomas and Louisa Castellone. On June 18, 1944 she married Adrian A. Forzani, Sr.; they had just celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Mr. Forzani survives at home.

Before retiring, Mrs. Forzani was employed by Reader’s Digest as a customer service representative.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Clare Shepard and her husband Spence, of Charlotte, NC; two sons, Adrian Forzani, Jr. and his wife Carole, of Williamsville, NY and Brian Forzani of Pleasant Hill, CA; grandchildren Scott Forzani and his wife Noelle, Spence Shepard and his wife Lea, and Clarissa Shepard; great-granddaughter Brianna Forzani; her sister Dorothy Civitillo and her husband Dominic of Somers, NY and brothers Thomas Castellone and his wife Ann of NJ and Anthony Castellone and his wife Alberta of Comack, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Dominic and Eugene Castellone and sisters Rose Brennan and Madeline Coluccio.

Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY ,Sat. July 7, 2007 from 9-9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at St. John’s Church, Pawling, NY. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
