MICHAEL O’CONNOR

Michael O’Connor, 58, a resident of Stamford, NY passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Bassett Health Care, Cooperstown, NY.

Born in the Bronx on July 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Neller) O’Connor. Mr. O’Connor was a field technician for Verizon in Stamford, NY and a member of the Local Union CWA 1126.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie (Mazzola) O’Connor, at home and three sons, Michael O’Connor of Cortlandt Manor, NY, Peter O’Connor of Wingdale, NY, and Daniel O’Connor of Croton-on-the-Hudson, NY; two brothers, Edward O’Connor of Colorado and Daniel O’Connor of Stamford, NY and two sisters, Eileen Brown of East Islip, NY and Kathleen Alfano of Levittown, PA; four grandchildren, Ryan, Chloe, Evan, and Natalie; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Sunday, April 15th at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, April 16th at 10AM at St. John’s Church, Pawling. Burial followed in Quaker Hill Cemetery, Pawling.
