Irene Bouffard, 89, a homemaker and long-time resident of Pawling, NY, entered into rest on March 11, 2008 in Port Charlotte, FL.
Daughter of the late Alfonse and Eva (LeBlanc) Thibdeau, she was born in Quebec, Canada on September 8, 1918.
Mrs. Bouffard had been a waitress at Holiday Hills Y.M.C.A. in Pawling for many years, and was a member of St. John’s Church, Pawling.
Mrs. Bouffard is predeceased by her first husband, Leonel Bouffard, and her second husband, Henry Bouffard, and two grandchildren, Lisa Renee Bouffard and Salvatore Tedeschi.
Her survivors include five sons, Andre Bouffard of Pawling, Norman Bouffard and his wife Evelyn of North Port, FL, Real Bouffard and his wife Barbara of the Hamlet of Wallkill, Armand Bouffard and his wife Debra of Lisbon, NY, and Conrad Bouffard and his wife Betsy of Florida; three daughters, Marguerite Arrick and her husband Malchom of Poughquag, Estelle Nicklaus and her husband Roger of Buchanan, and Denise Nolan of Arkansas; several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anita Meunier of New Milford, CT and Yvonne Phillips of Wingdale, NY; a brother, Raymond LaPalme of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. John’s Church, Pawling, NY. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY. |
