Madeline Lee Frink, 85, of Pawling, NY passed away on November 4, 2007 at New Milford Hospital.
Born January 19, 1922 in Pawling to the late Grace Hiser and Stanley Lee. She is predeceased by her brother Hiser Lee.
She is survived by her four children and two granddaughters; April Frink and her daughter Jennifer Groves of Pawling, Christopher Frink of Pawling, Jay Frink and his wife Leah Purcell of Wingdale, and Kelly Frink of Hobe Sound, FL and his daughter Alyson Frink of Cullowhee, NC.
While she was single in the 1940’s she worked as a secretary for the late Lowell Thomas. She married Eugene F. Frink on September 11, 1948 at St. John’s Church in Pawling. Later in life she worked at the Peale Center for Christian Living in Pawling.
Her hobbies included golf, horseback riding, skiing, and traveling.
She was a life long resident of Pawling and active community member. She was a member of the Pawling Garden Club and on the board of the Historical Society of Quaker Hill and Pawling for many years, as well as the curator of the Lowell Thomas Room at the John Kane House. She was a 40 year member of Christ Church on Quaker Hill.
There are no calling hours. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday November 7, 2007 at 11:00am at Christ Church on Quaker Hill. Burial will follow at the Quaker Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Christ Church on Quaker Hill, 17 Church Road, Pawling, NY 12564.
