Walter G. Heiden, 77, a resident of Pawling, NY for many years, passed away Fri, Nov. 2, 2007 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Born in Yonkers, NY on June 19, 1930, he was the son of the late George and Florence (Goodwin) Heiden. He served in the Army during the Korean War, and worked as a bricklayer until he retired.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, George J. Heiden, and a sister, Doris Heiden.

He is survived by his nephew, Tom Smith of Pflugerville, TX.

Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling Sun. 4-7 PM. The Hasler-Kamp Post American Legion will conduct a service at the funeral home Sun. at 4 PM. A funeral service will be conducted on Mon. at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorn, NY.
