Lola Virginia Hunt, 72, a resident of Pawling, NY since 1966, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT.
  
A school teacher for Brewster High School before she retired, she was born in Patterson, NY on May 18, 1935, daughter of Henry and Marian (Carruthers) Lee. 

She graduated from Carmel High School in 1952, and received her Bachelors Degree from Syracuse University where she was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, and her Masters Degree from Albany State.

She married Richard J. Hunt on June 21, 1962 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY.  

Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Pawling Theatre Group, and a member of the informal exercise class at the Holmes Whaley Lake Civic Association.
  
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Lee-Ann Villano and her husband Robert of Unionvale, NY and Andrea Hunt of Pawling, NY; and her step brother, Kevin VanKeuren of Patterson, NY.
  
Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY on Thursday, April 24th from 7-9 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 10 AM at Christ Church, Quaker Hill, Pawling, NY.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
