Kenneth R. Lyke, 54, a resident of Wingdale, NY, passed away at his home on May 4, 2007.
Born in Carmel, NY on January 5, 1953, he was a carpenter/foreman for Stone & Webster Entergy Nuclear Power Plant in Buchanan, NY.
He was a member of Empire State Regional Council of Carpenters Local #11, a member of Chestnut Ridge Rod & Gun Club, the NRA, and the North American Hunting Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a lifelong NASCAR fan, and a proud supporter of Anheuser-Busch.
He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Shaker of Daytona Beach, FL; his father, Ward Lyke of Carmel, NY; his daughter Jodi Lyke of Port St. Lucie, FL and his daughter Nikki Lyke-Milliman and her husband Jared, and granddaughter Lila of Vero Beach, FL; his brother Ward Lyke, Jr and his wife Laurie of Carmel, NY; his sister Debbie Gundel and her husband Billy of New Milford, CT; and nine nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his twin brother Dennis James Lyke, Sr. and stepfather Daniel Shaker.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Patterson Fire House, Patterson, NY on Mon. May 14th at 6:30 PM. All are welcome.
