Shirley M. Pfister. 73, a long-time resident of Patterson, NY, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Waterview Hills Rehabilitation Center, Purdys, NY.

Born in Croton Falls, NY on June 19, 1934, she was the daughter of Fernando and Mildred (Totten) Mayes.  On July 4, 1955 in Croton Falls, she married Frederick Pfister, who survives at home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five sons, Frederick Jr. and his wife Connie of Lake Carmel, Charles and his wife Judy of Pawling, Robert of Patterson, Thomas and his wife Donna of Poughquag, and Nicholas and his wife Lisa of Dover Plains; a daughter, Donna Moccio of Hopewell Junction; grandchildren Frederick, Scott, Tricia, Magen, Robert Jr, Daniel, Tyler, Thomas, Victoria, Alexandra, Sophia, Nicholas, and Adam Pfister, Michael and Anthony Moccio, and Greg Rooney; great-grandchildren Damie Ann Williams and Melissa, Trey, and Matthew Pfister. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling Weds, February 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM at St. John’s Church, Pawling.  Burial will follow in Raymond Hill Cemetery, Carmel, NY.
