William G. Randolph, 93, a resident of Pawling, NY since 1928, passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at Dutchess Center for Rehab, Pawling, NY.
Born in Culpepper, VA on Sept. 14, 1914, he was the son of Henry and Margaret (Nelson) Randolph. Mr. Randolph was a therapy aid at the former Harlem Valley State Hospital, Wingdale, NY before he retired in 1979. He was also a house painter and wallpaper hanger. Mr. Randolph was a World War II Army veteran.
Mr. Randolph is predeceased by his wife, Gladys Free Randolph, who passed away on July 19, 1995, and his two brothers, the Rev. Robert Randolph and James Randolph.
He is survived by his two nieces, Edna Jones of White Plains, NY and Shirley Eglen of Marlboro, MD; and his sister-in-law Muriel Randolph of Pawling, NY.
Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY Thursday, November 8th 11 AM to 1 PM. The Hasler-Kamp Post American Legion will conduct a service at the funeral home at 11 AM. A funeral service will follow visitation at 1 PM with the Rev. Jason Guice officiating. Burial will be in Pawling Cemetery, Pawling, NY.
