Manolo Rodriquez, 88, a resident of Mahopac passed away Tues. Jan. 29, 2008 at Doctor’s Hospital in Coral Gables, FL.  Born in Havana, Cuba on Feb. 27, 1919 to the late Marcelino and Petrona (Money) Rodriguez, he was a baker and owner of the Buttermaid Bakery in Yonkers and a member of the Bakers Union.
 
Manolo is survived by two brothers, Andres of Miami, FL and Julio of Cuba; one son-in-law Alan Shepherd of Mahopac; two granddaughters, Alyssa Young of New York City and Adriana Carrozza and husband, Carmen, of Pawling; and one great-granddaughter, Sofia Carrozza, also of Pawling.  He is pre-deceased by his daughter Lina Shepherd. 
 
Friends may call at Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main St., Pawling, NY on Weds., Feb. 6th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.  Funeral services will be conducted on Thurs. Feb. 7th at the funeral home at 11am.  Burial will follow in Ivandale Cemetery, Somers, NY.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Manola’s memory to the American Heart Association, 301 Manchester Rd., Suite 105, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
