Mary E. Smith, 54, a resident of Pawling, passed away Thurs, November 22, 2007 at New Milford Hospital, New Milford, CT.

 

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on April 22, 1953, she was the daughter of the late George Smith and Eleanor (Boo) Smith of Pawling.  Mary graduated from Pawling High School in 1973, and was a therapy aid at the former Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center, Wingdale.  She was a member of the C.S.E.A. at Harlem Valley and attended the Central Baptist Church of Pawling.

 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, George Smith, Jr. and his wife Sylvia of Monroe, CT and Robert Smith and his wife Josephine of Pawling; two sisters, Barbara Miller and her husband George and Evelyn Ferguson and her husband Clark, all of Pawling; and two nephews, Daniel Miller and his wife Margaux,, and Adam Miller, also all of Pawling.

 

Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling Sun, November 25th from 1 – 3 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home at 3 PM. Burial will follow at Quaker Hill Cemetery, Pawling.
