Marguerite Vetrovsky, 86, a resident of Catskill, NY since 2000, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Columbia Memorial Hospital, Hudson, NY.

 

Born in Atlantic City, NJ on June 21, 1921, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Richardson) Robertson, and the wife of the late Barney Vetrovsky, who passed away in 1994.

 

Prior to living in Catskill, she lived for many years in Unionvale, where she attended St. Denis Church, Sylvan Lake.  She was a homemaker and mother, who enjoyed cooking for her family, and was an excellent baker.

 

She is survived by her son Barney Vetrovsky and his wife Patricia, and her daughter Susan Vetrovsky, all of Jackson Heights, NY; her brother, James Robertson of Hot Springs, ARK; and grandson, Christopher Cook-Vetrovsky of Whitestone, NY.

 

Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Sunday, January 6 th. 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:30 AM at St. Denis Church, Sylvan Lake, NY.  Burial will follow in The Clove Cemetery, Unionvale, NY.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Memory of Mrs. Vetrovsky to the Columbia Memorial Hospital, 71 Prospect Avenue, Hudson, NY 12534.
