Victoria Casey
Signs with Grace College Soccer
The Grace College women's soccer team is excited to announce the addition of Victoria Casey from Heritage Christian High School in Indianapolis, IN. Victoria is an outstanding high school player, decorated with numerous awards including All-Conference, CCAC Champion, All-City, Sectional Runner-up, ISCA Top Player, Female Athlete of the Year, and Defensive MVP. She also was a member of the basketball team and field hockey team. Victoria plans on majoring in Counseling and Spanish when she enrolls in the fall.
"I chose Grace because I know I will be challenged to go deeper in my faith," said Casey on her choice to sign with Grace. "I also really connected with Coach Voss and the girls on the team and I know that I will be valued both as a person and a player."
Victoria is involved with Heritage Christian Honors Society, the Student Athletic Board and is a Highest Academic Honors Student. |

Samantha Turner
Pawling High School Class of 2003
Samantha Turner of Pawling has graduated from Plymouth State University of New Hampshire with the Class of 2007, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and a Health Minor. A graduate in the Pawling High School Class of 2003, Turner achieved a 3.30 overall Grade Point Average at Plymouth State. A member of the Spring 2007 President’s List with a GPA of 3.93, Turner was also a member of the 2007 Member of the National Scholars Honor Society, and the 2007 Panther Athletic Leadership Award Recipient. Turner was among the leaders who elevated women’s ice hockey to a varsity sport at the university, and was chosen by her teammates in the team’s first varsity season as 2006-2007 Plymouth States University Varsity Women's Ice Hockey Captain. Turner was 2005-2007 Treasurer of Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Honor Society
(Physical Education Honor Society), 2004-2007 Treasurer of the HPER Majors Club (Physical Education Majors Club), and a 2004-2007 Plymouth State University Women's Ice Hockey Player. She worked in the summers as Camp Administrator at New England Tennis Camp in Pawling. An All-Section Field Hockey Player while at Pawling High School, Turner will return this fall to assist coach June Lagan with the Tiger Varsity Field Hockey Team. Samantha is the daughter of Nancy and Len Turner and the granddaughter of Rose Clarkson of Pawling. |

Christopher Nash Fennell
Trinity-Pawling School Class of 2003
Fennell graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio on May 19, 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude. In his History Major, he graduated with High Honors and Senior Thesis With Distinction. Fennell was a Distinguished Scholar 2003-2007, Dean’s List 2003-2007, recipient of the Raymond DuBois Cahall Prize for Exellence in the Field of History 2007, and recipient of the Landon Warner Research Grant for International Study 2006. The son of Marie King and Philip Fennell of Pawling, Christopher is a 2003 Graduate of Trinity-Pawling School. |

Eric Graham
Dover High School Class of 2003
Eric Graham graduated from Saint John Fisher College in Rochester on May 5, 2007 with a BA in History and Adolescent Education. Graham graduated from Dover High School with the Class of 2003. A star with Dover High School football and baseball and Pawling Youth Hockey, he played football and ice hockey in college. Graham plans to stay in the Rochester area to teach school and coach football. |

Dan Piazza
Pawling High School Class of 2006
Dan Piazza, a Peer Leader, top student and holder of the pole vault record at Pawling High School, has completed the first phase of the Indoctrination/Regimental System training that will continue through his four years at SUNY Maritime College. Piazza plans to enter the United States Coast Guard upon graduation from Maritime College. Senator Vincent Leibell obtained the prestigious scholarship to Maritime College for Piazza through the Cadet Appointment Program of the New York State Legislature. The purpose of the Regimental System training is to develop the individual's potential through discipline, poise, confidence, obedience, pride, an unyielding sense of duty and moral and ethical responsibility, physical fitness and mental agility, leadership, and an ability to perform well under varable and stressful conditions. |
